3 - Encounters
During JOURNEY, you'll walk to the Faction table that your chosen District is in.
To have an Encounter, turn over and read the Encounter Card for the District you're in.
Based on what Action you think would handle the situation in the Encounter best, choose Prowl, Wreck, or Interrogate.
To attempt the Encounter, roll a d20.
If you roll a 13 or higher, you automatically pass the Encounter!
Otherwise, add the Action modifier on your Species Card.
Once you have your total, turn over the Target Number (TN) card to see if you passed or failed.

If you meet or exceed the TN, you pass!
Collect 5 Gold. You did well!
If you are below the TN, you fail.
Collect 2 Gold. Eh, at least you get paid.
If you rolled a natural 20, you automatically pass. Collect an additional 1 Gold.
If you rolled a 1, you automatically fail.
Whether you Pass or Fail, collect the top-most Trace token from the District.
Species Card
Your Species Card increases your ability to Prowl, Wreck, or Interrogate.
